MEGAN DAVIES

Megan Marie Davies is an interdisciplinary artist working across drawing, painting, video, and performance. Her practice centres on testimony—not as documentation, but as a way of speaking from within: to assert lived experience, challenge dominant narratives, and resist silence.

Drawing on both personal and collective memory, Davies works with the body—particularly the feminine body—as a site of knowledge, rupture, and repair. Her art emerges from moments of vulnerability, reframing them as spaces for strength, connection, and shared understanding.

She holds a Master of Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia.
